A muted heirloom palette — field and ghost pumpkins with weathered gourds, in cream, sage, and deep burgundy — sits comfortably against the village's Victorian-era housing stock: the gabled frame homes and turn-of-the-century cottages built when Clarendon Hills first grew up around its rail stop, alongside the Tudor Revivals and a later layer of postwar builds.
